First and foremost, I'm a husband and father of two. I grew up in Texas, graduated in 2007, and married my wife in 2008. Also, in 2007, I joined the Marine Corps, served four years, and completed two combat deployments — one in Iraq, one in Afghanistan — before receiving an honorable discharge.

Our son was born in 2012, and a year living in Pennsylvania sparked a love for the North. We returned to Texas, welcomed our daughter in 2019, and in 2023 made the move to Minnesota. We've called Elk River home ever since.

My work history is as varied as the people I've met along the way — auto mechanic, oilfield worker, retail, even pizza delivery. For the past decade I've been a truck driver. These jobs have taken me across the country and given me something I value deeply: a firsthand view of the humanity in people from all walks of life.
